Hi, I'm Dr. Eve Coker.
I hold a Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, the scientific study of human behavior in the workplace, along with a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am also a licensed psychotherapist.
My interest in both fields grew from a simple belief: people matter. I wanted to understand not only how to help individuals heal from emotional pain, but also how workplaces, relationships, and environments shape our well-being. Healthy organizations depend on healthy people, and our personal lives inevitably influence how we think, work, lead, and connect with others.
Over the years, I've worked with people facing trauma, anxiety, chronic stress, burnout, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions. My clinical background has given me extensive experience helping individuals understand the patterns that keep them feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves.
My work is grounded in curiosity rather than judgment. Rather than viewing people as collections of symptoms, I strive to understand the whole person—their experiences, values, strengths, and the unique ways they've learned to navigate life. I believe lasting change begins with insight. When people understand why they think, feel, and respond the way they do, they gain the freedom to make intentional choices instead of repeating automatic patterns.
Whether we're working through emotional challenges, navigating a significant transition, or exploring questions of identity and purpose, my goal is to provide a thoughtful, collaborative space where you can better understand yourself and move toward a life that feels more authentic, meaningful, and aligned with who you are.
